Activating the WiFi module will allow you to have an alternate mode of communication in the event there is not cellular signal at the time your alarm system is trying to communicate its signals which make's this system a dual path security system.
To connect the IQ Panel to the Wi-Fi network click settings > enter your master code "default is 1234" > click system settings > wireless settings > Wi-Fi settings > Select your Wi-Fi Network > enter your password if required > wait for the panel to connect to the nework> you're all set.
