Why Does the Honeywell Lyric Controller have a Camera?
Modified on: Tue, 25 Jun, 2019 at 5:44 PM
The Honeywell Lyric controller has a Built-in 2 megapixel front facing camera that takes two snapshots of the person when disarming at the control panel.
The user can view these snaps shots via Total Connect remote services, and the feature can be disabled/enabled via Total Connect.
Users can also do a live look-in snap shot via Total Connect. *This feature requires WiFi connection to send the snapshots, they will NOT send over cellular. Up to 40 images will be stored if the Wi-Fi connection is lost. Snapshots are stored for 90 days in TC2. They can be searched by date, sorted by 'Disarm' and 'Look-in', and Downloaded to Save the images. Snapshots can be sent with TC2 email and text notifications also.
